Speaks your language
Hears about 100 languages, speaks over 40, learns new ones on its own.
The world does not speak one language, and neither does bia. It recognises what language someone is using — even when they switch in the middle of a sentence — and when it meets a language it does not know yet, it learns it by itself and tells you it did.
What it means for you
Hears about a hundred languages
From English, Spanish and Russian to Ukrainian, Hindi, Swahili or Welsh. Speech is turned into text phrase by phrase, so a sentence that mixes two languages still comes out right.
Learns new languages itself
Someone calls in Portuguese for the first time? bia notices, says it is learning Portuguese, downloads a voice, and from then on speaks it too. No settings, no manuals.
Remembers each person’s language
bia notes which language each contact prefers. Next time your aunt calls, it already starts in her language.
Choose the voice
Male or female, different accents and regions. If a voice sounds wrong or is broken, bia tests it and quietly picks another.
Ideas for using it
- A small hotel answering guests in their own language at three in the morning.
- A family spread across countries, where grandparents and grandchildren do not share a language.
- Volunteers helping newcomers who do not speak the local language yet.
- A study partner that will patiently speak Italian with you every evening.
Good to know
Each new voice is a download of about 20–60 MB. Some languages can be understood but have no voice yet; bia will say so and answer in a language it can speak.
